Marconi Preschool is a community based preschool for children from 3- 5 years of age. Marconi Preschool offer a fully educational program based on the philosophy that children learn most effectively through play. The staff do there best to facilitate careful planning and interaction in one-to-one, small group and large group interaction.

The staff at Marconi Preschool value each child as an individual with his/her own personality, family and cultural background and value the diversity of the preschool.

Monday - Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm

The preschool is closed on Public Holidays and for six weeks over Christmas.

Aims of Marconi Preschool

Marconi Preschool provides:

•  An environment that is safe, friendly and secure for all.
•  An environment which promotes learning via provision of developmentally appropriate practice, and stimulating activities for the development of needs, strengths, and interests of individual children.
•  Clear rules and standards by which each child should act. Each child will be aware of the limits which apply to his/her behaviour both individual and within a group situation.
•  Encouragement and positive reinforcement to promote positive self esteem and self worth with each child.
•  Support and education and if necessary, referral for parents.
•  Staff training.
