Marconi Stallions FC continues to provide a pathway for progressive footballers with interest from both the A-league and overseas.
The Club broke new ground in January this year by sending two players Jetzen Lopez and Aidan Milicevic to trial and train at Borussia Dortmund. Both players impressed the distinguished German Club and were offered opportunities to pursue further.
Closer to home – seven players have been offered and accepted opportunities to join Western Sydney Wanderers in 2021.
Two players have accepted offers to join Sydney FC.
New A-league Club Macarthur FC have provided further opportunities for the Stallions talent, having “scouted” goalkeeper Luka Cukar.
The Clubs reputation is one that provides a pathway to higher honours and that is clearly reflected in the “plundering” made by the three A-league Clubs so far in 2020.
Marconi Stallions Head Coach Peter Tsekenis believes the Club is creating exceptional opportunities for players of all ages.
“Our role is to develop kids and create a pathway for them to go on to the next level”, he said.
“We are providing players with a stepping stone to progress and won’t hold anyone back.”
